You can require the word "Click" before speaking a menu command, thus Dragon NaturallySpeaking will not get confused trying to decide if you are speaking a menu command or dictating text.

To require "Click" to select a menu or control:

1. Open the Options dialog box by clicking Tools and then Options on the DragonBar.
2. Click the Miscellaneous tab.
3. Select the "Require 'Click' to select menu or control" box if it is not selected.
4. Click OK.
