July Edition

Just 226 short years ago this month, Thomas Jefferson drafted  the Declaration Of Independence. I had
to wonder what that process would have been like if Mr. Jefferson had Voice Recognition technology at the time. He could  have simply  said, “Click file”, “click new”, “new paragraph”, "When in the Course of human events, it becomes necessary for one people to get rid of, “scratch that” dissolve the political bands which have connected them with another…"

My point is that we may all look back one day and wonder how we ever composed large amounts of documentation using writing tools or the hunt and peck keyboard method. Instead, as we see today we can simply speak the words and commands and see the text come alive on the screen.

Like any technology, voice recognition requires a brief learning curve and some training to ensure you get good results. If you haven’t seen Voice Recognition in awhile, you really need to check out version 6.0. There have been dramatic improvements in speed and accuracy over the last year and Dragon NaturallySpeaking version 6.01 bears that out..

Dragon comes in Preferred (for home users), Professional, Medical, Legal and Public Safety. Call today and talk with us about which version of Dragon is right for you.

To all of our VR News subscribers, we wish you a safe and fun-filled 4th of July holiday.
