Thanks for the mail. I think you describe the dilemma of the DragonDictate user who can't quite
switch to NaturallySpeaking very well.
I decided to try L&H's continuous speech product, mainly because it works with Word for Windows 95
(unlike NaturallySpeaking). Also because its machine requirements seem more manageable, and it is
claimed that they have a good product to control Windows in the works. Given the technical
difficulty of this task, being very cozy with Microsoft is probably an unbeatable advantage over IBM
and Dragon.
I will continue using DragonDictate for my UNIX stuff, though. I don't believe the L&H product has
much in the way of macro capabilities.
