My next solution is an ear-mounted mike from Vxi! -- only 1 side of my
head is affected. If _that_ doesn't work I shall grit my teeth
and buy a really good desk-mounted one, which, like the one
you found, will take dictation from varying distances.
(I have the gooseneck, and the musician's stand, I got when
I first realised I couldn't wear a headset -- even the TalkMic,
which is amazingly comfortable compared to the others, gives
me very slight headaches.)

I suspect it should be sleep-o! (Thank you for not mentioning the
time: I am taking this weekend "off", pursuing Nat 3 aside.)

I wasn't suggesting you were, but I may have committed another
sleep-o.
(Also Holland can't answer one of my major qs ie is 3 terrible slow
with WP, too...!!)

No. "Mirage" refers to the U edition :(

I'm assuming people will start posting on Monday. We need Rose,
but she has to wait till she gets her upgrade...

Oh dear. That's the kind of thing I never know. BTW there
are -- were, I'll check -- 2 archives: but the recent ones
are in the one you've looked at.
I'd search by key-word + user-name, through Altavista, if
such searches aren't possible in the archive proper (I'm assuming
the archive is still indexed there).

Yes, the evening crept up on me, I must log off soon.
