I thought that _in theory_ only list members could post,
but that may be _in theory_.
-- I just live with spam because my username in on the Web anyway
and I can't do anything about that, but I know it really gets to
some people.
The only thing I know of that definitely stops spam is
a moderated list, where the owner -- or whoever --
checks all the posts, and I don't see that we can manage that.
BTW I just got a spam that seems to have been sent,
originally, from Compuserve: I'll try sending it to their
abuse dept.

Yes :(
