Hi! A flash of inspiration whilst immersed in the swimming pool today.
Speech recognition errors are gobbledygook if words or phrases, which sound
very similar to what was intended, find their way into documents. They
could be called recognitos (cf. incognito) but that doesn't describe what
are really homophones.
'Homophono' doesn't quite work nor does 'phono' but how about 'phoney'? It
also gets off the Dragon hook :)
