1. Sometimes after I select a word and say "delete that," it deletes
the word, but it types the words, "delete that."
2. My correction window or box is partially deaf: after I tell the
program to "correct that," and I get the box with several choices, it
doesn't hear me when I say, "select 1," etc. I have to spell the word
properly rather than select it.
3. Accuracy seems worse with NaturallySpeaking than when I just used
DragonDictate. Should I talk slower? How do I use that thing that
adjusts the pause between words? If I tell it to pose won were, then
do I pause longer when I speak too? So, it actually takes me longer
to get a correct paragraph with NaturallySpeaking than with
DragonDictate because I have to correct so many mistakes with
NaturallySpeaking.
4. A frequent kind of mistake is that it will type little words
after the correct word . For example, after it typed "frequent," it
typed "in."
5. And of course, the big annoyance continues to be the bug, the
conflict, or whatever you want to call the problems I have with Word
and natural word. Almost 100% of the time that I use more than one
file or more than one application with word and natural word, the
computer will freeze when I try to exit Word. Then I have to reboot,
run scan disk, etc. if I do a ctrl-alt-del, I will see that both
Microsoft word and NaturallySpeaking are "not responding." Telling
the computer to "end task," doesn't help. I have deleted all the
temp files. That didn't help -- maybe it made things worse. I also
have tried to use Word with other applications without using
NaturallySpeaking, and everything works find. To make matters worse,
recently even if I just use one file in word with natural word, I
will have this freeze and have to reboot, etc.. HELP!!
