One response to my question about Dells (the only response, perhaps because
of all the HTML junk :) ) said that a lot of noise is introduced when the
unit is plugged in, but the noise goes away when the unit is not plugged in.
Is this typical for other notebooks, or am I letting my school convince me
to get a machine that is not optimal for voice recognition?
Also, should I really argue for them to let me upgraded to aPentium II-266
for the BestMatch technology, or just go with the standard Pentium II-233,
and upgrade later, when it is cheaper?
I CAN upgrade a Dell laptop with a Pentium II, correct?
