Several people have had very good things to say about the Mint from Mint
International. I am still undecided about a laptop, and while voice
recognition is important, I am primarily concerned about the quality of the
XGA display. From these comments and my own research, the Mint appears to
be quite good. Laptops from Ergo Computing (Brick Bigscreen) and EPS, with
14 inch XGA displays and the ability to have the CD rom drive and floppy
coexist internally, seem to be very similar machines at a lower price. Has
anyone had any experience with either or both of these suppliers?
