Since I have a Mac, the sound card is an irrelevant question. I am using
a 100 meg processor which supposedly is quite enough for discrete speech.
The name of the processor probably wouldn't mean much to non Mac users.
However, it is a 601 processor. I have 80 megs of RAM. I believe it would
be rather accurate to compare the requirements with DragonDictate, which
doesn't use a heavy amount of mouse control.
Initially I appeared to make continual progress, however lately I seem
to be getting rather worse instead of better.
As an experiment I am changing the preference of "continuous" adapting
to " adapt when corrected or saved".
