version. Seems to require a bit more computer power. Sampling rate increased
to 22k to accommodate higher pitched voices. Voiceforms for 'boilerplate'
dictation. Automatic number formatting.
It does seem like an extensive makeover. Has anyone tried it yet?

VV 98 sounds like a step up. I wonder if IBM will as slow shipping it to
Australia as they were with VVgold, which I ended up ordering over the WWW
from the UK in frustration.
US WWW sites can be a real tease for products not easily obtainable here.
My attempts to get info from IBM on Oz shipping dates or ordering from them
were basically fruitless. It seems the benefits of globalisation do not
always cut both ways.
I might add that since then IBM have been most helpful with both email and
phone requests for assistance.
Perhaps any IBM folk would care to comment?
