I get acceptable performance from my headset and mike supplied with DragonDictate Classic now that I have placed a blob of "Pritt-tack" (a firm sticky paste) on the wobbly ball-and-socket joint over the ear-rest. This keeps the mike boom from moving when I put it down. The head-set is rather thin wire and I need to massage it back into shape periodically.
