over the years, I've found this to be true on any mic. (old Shure SM10A,
VXI, VXI Gold, Wireless Shure) I've used. Think at least one of the
Dragon packages illustrates this. I use my thumb on the corner of my
mouth when putting the mic. into position - it always seems to work.
