Does anyone know about this other software please ?
(My Ensoniq Audio PCI may have packed up and can't be replaced easily in
the UK)

Sorry, can't help on the technical. On the first, I bought DNS v. 1.0
for $165 in November, loaded it. Mike wouldn't work period. Called DNS
customer service and tech proved that it worked with Win95 Sound
Recorder, asked what my sound card was, laughed when I told him SB
compatible IBM Mwave, and told me to replace it with a SoundBlaster
Basic 16. I did and DNS would work on the SB16, but SB16 had problems
with other software. Reinstalled MWave, bought IBM ViaVoice, and it
worked fine. Vendor refused refund because the package had been opened
and Dragon insisted that it was the dealer's problem and refused
refund. Yesterday at CompUSA I see a $15 Labtech mike packaged with a
"free" DNS 30 day trial disk. Salt in the wound. DNS still in the box.
