I would like information on other users experience with various =
microphones.
Currently I am using a Labtec C324 into an AVID pre-amp into the Line =
Input of an SB32 Jan 1996 Creative Labs Sound Card.
I use Dragon Dictate Naturally Speaking Preferred , with their new WIN98 =
voice setup program, this allows line input, although
you keep having to turn off the line to speaker in the Creative Mixer.
I get good results, mixer set times 1 on input and output, no AGC, but:
The headset cords down to my tower can cause enough noise when I move =
that recognition is interfered with.
Their is no sound damping of the boom to the mike itself. Poor design??
I am looking at the VXI now Parrot line, the Electret ST, with bias box. =
I think this cost $88 US + $20 for the Bias box.
Anyone have experience with this headset and bias box?
Anyone have any suggestions to improve a noisy (electrical) sound card. =
I think it picks up noise from a 233MHZ Pentium ASUS
mother board. It is the only ISA card in the system.
I would like to improve the quality of the Dragon Voice Audio Setup =
Wizard, and training in general.
I do my test with "A Brief History of Time" by Stephen Hawking. =
Introduction and Chapter 1.
Any input would be helpful.
