Well, sorry: this is one to say the same thing happened to me.
I don't understand how the files could have been corrupt as
I'd deleted the back-up files for a different reason, and these
had just been made.
(So the disk hadn't been optimized while they were on it. It
_had_ been optimized while the current user files were there.
But they seem to be working just fine, even with my voice
the way it is today!)
Rose I suggest it's more likely the files aren't corrupt
when we're all (?!) having the same problem. The reason you
may not have heard from other people is that they don't
want to try it unnecessarily: I was going to try it just to try
it, but realised I didn't want to keep my husky voice anyway.
Q for anyone who might have the answer:
1) Why do we have 3 sets of both current and backup user
files, voice, generale, and generalo?
