It looks like Dragon Systems is getting into a price war with IBM; I don't
know whether that is a good idea or not-on the plus side, the new product
looks like it didn't take much research and development, so any revenue it
generates is bonus cash flow. I don't think this development will hurt
their high-end efforts (after all, how many of you reading this list _
aren't _ using NaturallySpeaking deluxe, or at least have a separate
DragonDictate installation. We'll pay the big bucks for the next
generations of products, because speech recognition isn't a luxury. Now, if
only they'd give us the Linux version... ( actually, if I knew the folks at
Dragon were serious about their development offer, I could probably put a
deal together through SunSITE. Didn't their research efforts used to be
on Unix boxes :-)
