Microsoft has detected a memory leak in Windows NT 4.0
snmp.exe.
The leak happens if SNMP cannot decode an OID from a
network
packet. SNMP does not free up the memory. Over time,
this will cause a
decrease in performance in your Windows NT system,
especially on a
system running on a network segment that receives lots
of SNMP
broadcast traffic. Microsoft is testing a fix but
hasn't released it yet.
