My apologies for not be more specific during my last message. In the
version of the file that I'm referring to is the one that is 990KB in size.
I most recently ran into problems similar to the first half of your message
after installing and Iomega Zip drive. The installation installed a 919KB
version of the mfc42.dll file. I then later went to use NaturallySpeaking
Deluxe Edition version 2.02 and Outlook Express (I am testing this program
to write a review.) and encountered an exception error.
As I stated in the previous message I now keep a copy of the mfc42.dll file
(990KB) and replace it from DOS mode at need (ID quite a bit of software
testing so there are times when the need for replacement is quite frequent).
