OK gang, voice-users update. =20

First, this is a test message to see if voice-users is back up. I =
understand we have been receiving blank email for a few hours and I'm =
too embarrassed to tell you why. (ok, I ran out of disk space. =
voice-users just keeps on growing.)

Second, since about a week ago, the voice-users-digest was not working =
properly. For some reason, my subscription file disappeared. Not sure =
why, but I have restored a backup and people who have subscribed and =
unsubscribed a week ago may find that the action has been reversed. =
Sorry.

Lastly, I have implemented the de-spammer to our list. It's not really =
a great way, but if you go into the archives, =
http://www.voicerecognition.com/voice-users/archive/1998, whenever your =
name is archived, there is an extra @@ in your email address. This will =
make it harder for spammers to collect bulk email addresses (they'll get =
bad address errors and you won't see their spam). This does not affect =
URLs.

I'm a few days behind subscriptions and unsubscriptions, but this should =
be taken care of Monday or Tuesday.
