A second question regarding sound cards. I recall some talk of the
Ensoniq Audio PCI card in the past can wonder what kind of success folks
(especially you, Holland) have had with it with NaturallySpeaking. Is
still seems to be available and is reasonably priced.
A third question, not related to the sound card problem. Several folks
and recently discussed a WordPerfect macro to continue adding new
information to the dragon.log file (if I have the name correct) in order
to increase its capacity to remember specialty words and phrases. I'm a
fairly experienced WordPerfect user but haven't done this type of thing
before and need to know at what point one would invoke this macro. I'm
getting pretty tired of losing the words and phrases I'm certain (if
dementia isn't setting in) I trained in the past. BTW, I'm using
WordPerfect 8.
Can't wait until the technology finally gets developed to the point that
it's as easy, flexible, and "natural" as the advertising suggests. It's
a wonderful thing (as is nuclear power or a chain saw,) but you have to
be *real* attentive to it. Ok, so it's been a hard week...
Thanks to everyone for their help and advice.
