Thank you Kevin for the advice. As usual, the best solution is the
simplest. The answer was under Help -- Help Topics -- Troubleshooting -- If
Extra Words Are Added. All one has to do to get rid of those extra words,
is move the microphone father away. Kind of simple, isn't it...
So now, instead of groping for the clavicle, I move the microphone lower
until I can feel my heartbeat with the right 5th digit. Now, I hope I don't
get too excited about the improved recognition. I don't know what I'd do if
microphone begins to pick up the heartbeat.
The microphone does have to be anchored to something. Since it is not
attached to one's the head, the discomfort of simply holding it becomes
noticeable fairly soon. It is not the mike that is heavy, but it's long
coiled cable.
