Unfortunately moving the custom vocabulary phrases you have added from
one user to another is only easy with the Deluxe version. To move your
custom vocabulary and custom phrases in NaturallySpeaking Personal and
NaturallySpeaking Preferred versions you have to do a manual workaround.
The single custom words you have added to your vocabulary should be no
problem. Those words should already be in your saved documents so they
will be added back to the new user when you run the vocabulary builder,
so the only words you actually have to add manually are the custom
phrases.
The way I did this before getting NaturallySpeaking Deluxe was to open
the vocabulary editor (for the first user), select show custom words
only, then read only the custom phrases into a small tape recorder.
After reading all the custom phrases (omitting the custom single words)
into a tape recorder, switch to the new user, open the vocabulary editor
window, and listen to the tape recording, typing in the custom phrases.
This is definitely a time-consuming endeavor if you have a lot of custom
phrases.
Alternatively, you could listen to the tape you have made, then
redictate the phrases into a blank NaturallySpeaking document (with the
new user), then copy and paste, one by one, the custom phrases from the
list you have dictated into the vocabulary editor. I tried this but it
seemed to be even more of a hassle than typing directly into the
vocabulary editor window.
