Well, now I'm really puzzled. You should not have to add the word
"\Cap". In fact, you can't add it, and have it function correctly,
because unlike DragonDictate there is no easy way to set a "Capitalize
the following word" option.
I need more information to work with. First, tell me the exact error
message, and also whether it occurs when you invoke the chart notes
macro, or when you say the next word. Also, try invoking the macro with
and without a pause before the next word after the macro.
Second, go to the tools menu and select topic editor (NOT topic
builder). Make sure that "show custom words only" option is not
checked. Move the scroll bar to the very top (for some odd reason, it
doesn't start at the very top.) When I do this, New-Paragraph is the
first word, and Cap is the fifth one. Let me know if Cap is there, and
if not, what the first couple of words are (both the written and the
spoken forms). Also, if Cap is not there, go to the topic menu in the
main NaturallySpeaking window, create a new topic from scratch based on
the base General English -- 30k topic, switch to that topic, and check
the topic editor again.
Third, use the edit command Wizard to look up your chart notes macro,
copy everything from the Script box and email it to me.

Well, well! It cannot be helped, and it is difficult not to slip in
talking to a dragon, or so I have always heard.
