Ah, I was hearing a different problem when I read Nicolai's post.
Monica, the amount of time for the pause between dictation and command
words can be adjusted. In Deluxe, it is under Tools|Options|Misc.(may
found in a different location in Personal or Preferred) There is a
slider for this adjustment. There is also a help button on that screen
which explains the effects of the different postions.
