VXI mike was being so unresponsive two nights ago. Last night, I put it on
and discovered it wasn't responding at all--because a certain small cat
who shares my life had chewed through the cord. Apparently he'd been at it
for days, and the mike had valiantly kept working, with some loss of
responsiveness :)
