Yeah, Ray. The problem is DNS incompatiblity with the IBM MWave
soundcard/modem combination used in your ThinkPad. As one might hope,
IBM ViaVoice works fine, as I would assume VV Gold would.
Good luck getting a refund on DNS. Dragon was most unsympathetic.
Would you like to join me in a class action suit?
Dragon knows there is a problem with the MWave modem used by IBM in
ThinkPads and desktops, as well as by other manufacturers such as Acer.
In fact, Acer is selling MWave cards on their wedsite for $99 in case
anyone is interested.
