I built my own system 6 months ago, partly for NS (personal edition). I
have a Shuttle Spacwalker HOT-569 motherboard (Intel 430TX PCI chipset),
64 megs of EDO RAM, an AMD K6 - 233 Mhz CPU, and a Soundblaster AWE32
audio card (the audio card was actually swiped from my computer at home
- it is a couple years old). Windoze 95.
NS personal edition runs like a charm, with the internet, my word
processor and my database program all running in the background. I
sometimes have a brief (maybe 10 second?) delay when first starting up
but once the words start appearing, the program keeps right up with my
speaking.
