Rose and I agreed that there must be some unknown factor (among
others) that is standing in the way of good results for ViaVoice for
some people. For the record I get excellent results with ViaVoice
Gold, and it is my impression that ViaVoice Gold is doing much better
than ViaVoice plain for me and other users. That said, since you have
already ordered Dragon Deluxe and there seems to be no upgrade price
from ViaVoice plain to ViaVoice Gold, I think you will be pleased. As
a writing tool [to all -- southern accent here] NaturallySpeaking is
excellent. The problems have to do with it in assorted array of
clashes with other software; however these are surmountable [surmount
a bowl] and you will very much enjoy [enjoyed] the ability to select
text by voice as you dictate. This message was dictated with ViaVoice
Gold with three errors as you see. 3/151 words ... 98 percent
accuracy, using WinWord to do word count, calculator to do the math,
all by voice. Susan.
