I'm back.
Seems so much has happened including my personal email coming to the list,
subscription nightmares and now spams.
Did someone spam my list. I will get them right away!!!! = )
I did not see this spam. Was it actually to the list at
voice-users@@voicerecognition.com, or did they just spam each individual that
is part of this list. For the record, we absolutely do not sell names of this
list to any spam server, nor do we spam users of this list. We our own
mailing list for these things and have never used or borrowed email addresses
from this list.
Before I left, I had certain safeguards turned off since I would not be here
to administer small problems. One of these safeguards is subscribe and
unsubscribe messages. Usually, you won't see this but I turned the feature
off so that you can direct people to the proper place. The other feature is,
as Michele suggested, only users of this list will be able to mail to the
list.
I'll be resetting all of these features by the end of the week (i'm a little
swamped). I will also be sending another email for subscription and
unsubscription emergencies, but this is not the email. Please give me until
Friday to catch my breath.
