Yup, sure did. In contrast to other posters, I am subscribed to only one
list, ie: this one, I'm not using any newsgroups and I do not have a web page.
Personal and business Email is all I really use the net for at the moment. The
only Spams I get seem to come through this list, and I am pleased to say that
I get very few.
I guess this all adds up to suggest that the Spammer in question did get
our addresses from the voice-users list. Is this any help to anyone? As has
been pointed out before it's probably very difficult to stop this sort of
thing happening due to the voice-users archive on the web site. Are there any
ways for the list to make a SpamBots life a little harder, excluding the use
of personal mail filters?
