Coincidentally, one of my clients is looking for math software, usable with
DragonDictate or NatSpeak Deluxe (he has both and is quickly becoming an
advanced user) that can perform the functions of a TI-82 or TI-83 calculator.
He would like to take Calculus and Finite Math (linear algebra) courses this
upcoming semester.
Matlab and Maple have been suggested -- any other suggestions? Are these
overkill for what he needs? In the past, I've seen shareware that simulates
common calculators. Is such readily available?
