Dear All,
I am concerned about the message below which asserts that a TX chipset
is unsuitable for a really efficient VR system. The local UK supplier has
infromed me
that:
(a) He does not supply anything else.
(b) That Pentium processors such as the P200 do not come with anything else.
(c) That the Pentium 2 processor (much more expensive) does come with
something else.


So what is the true position ? Is the Pentium 200 processor already out of
date ?
i.e not ideal for VR. Is the combination P200/ TX chipset OK ?

I think it is. But what concerns me more about your mail is, that you
must be shure not to buy a motherboard with a TX chipset, as those
boards cannot cache more than 64 megs of memory. And youll probably need
more than 64 MB to do real good voice recognition..
