finally,
surgery last year to restore the hearing to near normal.

to my disappointment, I noticed in videos taken this
Christmas
that I a speech impairment.
My question: Could the low success that I had with Dragon
Dictate 1.3 be due to my speech pattern, mostly leaving off
the diphthongs or consonants that I didn't learn to put in
my
speech? :(
