I believe that Kavita Thomas's third question was meant to address the following problem: Important information is lost by the way DragonDictate sends its output to an application: if I say "hello" to DragonDictate, then DragonDictate simulates typing h e l l o. This means that the application has no information about whether the input "hello" was typed by a user or was spoken as a word. Thus the information that "hello" was a spoken utterance is lost. It is not possible to design sophisticated voice user interfaces that combine keyboard and voice input without this information. For example, when the word "hello" is inserted somewhere in the middle of text by voice, then spacing should be adjusted properly around the inserted word. Such automatic spacing should not be carried out for typed input, of course. Therefore, it would be higly desirable if DragonDictate's output could be directed directly to another process via some sort of enter process communication. Would Dragon be able to enlighten us on this subject? /Nils
