Rose, I believe you requested that I post all responses to this question to the mailing list. well, here's what I got, hope this is informative to everyone: Date: Wed, 22 Jan 1997 09:44:48 -0500 From: Renee Blodgett <ReneeB@dragonsys.com> To: kavita@ai.mit.edu Subject: 3 Dragon Dictate questions... One: there is no way with the current implementation of DragonDictate that would allow users to dynamically update macros. All macros that need to be shared will have to be exported, then imported into a different users voice file. I believe that this could be accomplished using a visual basic application that incorporates the DragonXTools controls. Two: while multiple users can be open at any given time (depending on how much RAM the machine has) only one set of voice files can be used at any given time. As far as I know, there is no way to get around this. Three: I can see no reason why text cannot be sent to a different application that is running in a DOS box. The application needs to have the focus and it will be a bit slower but it should work ok.
