I vaguely remember seeing something about mmx somewhere on the IBM

VoiceType web pages.  It was not very specific.  (Something to the

effect that IBM would take advantage of all the latest improvements

in computer technology in continuing to develop voice recognition.)

I'm sorry that I don't remember the exact URL.
