I too was amazed, discouraged and dismayed when I saw the price. I guess
the reason is to pay for the support that having such a complete macro
language implies. The people who buy the manual are likely the same
people who use the support.
I took a look at a friends copy of the book and it's really, really good.
It's about as thick and dense as the "User Guide" manual. I am no longer
amazed at the price, but I am still dismayed and discouraged.
