I have no wish to offend anyone on the list so I am going to try
to phrase this very carefully. I own Dragon 2.51, Kurzweil 2.0 and
IBM Voicetype 3.0. I use Dragon because I found it to be the
most accurate, fastest, most flexible recognizer of the three
for me to produce FINISHED work. I dictate directly into
WordPerfect 6.1, Excel, Word 6.0, Netscape, to name a few. I
prefer WordPerfect 6.1 as a wordprocessor. I produce legal
and medical documents, general correspondence and write WordPerfect
macro scripts. I particulary like how Dragon behaves when I am
writing WP macro scripts ("programming"), it greatly reduces the
time I would otherwise spend looking for syntax level errors. I
am sure that it is my fault due to inexperience or stupidity but
I was unable to replicate my wp macro vocabulary, associated words,
or voice macros, in any other recognizer.
Hope this helps and hope with all my heart that I have not offended anyone,
Rose
