Dana, thanks for the ideas. Didn't know about the finger mouse. They tell me Frame will do all this stuff you mention. My biggest problem is during heavy editing sessions: the use of any pointer device is a limiting factor in my work. I now use the WACOM art tablet as the least uncomfortable input method. As an initial step I am considering a setup that would be used to offload some of the pointer input, specifically the access to commands on the menus. Later I could go to a more comprehenive VR solution. >> >>My sense is that a full VR solution would be a lot of extra overhead and I am reluctant to do it with current technology, however if I ran into more of a physicial limitation that balance would change instantly! >> >>Constraints: budgetary; I work heavily with FrameMaker so need a program that adapts to all programs without new macros or programming. This has narrowed it down to Dragon Dictate. It looks like their PC version is way ahead of the Mac version, however I otherwise would prefer to have a Mac. So, the question is, can I do what I plan on the Mac or should I do it with a PC?
