Natural Language Technology™ (NLT) – Dictate, format, and
edit using Natural Language Technology. NLT determines whether you are
issuing a formatting command or trying to create text, and then does the
right thing. L&H Voice Xpress Professional has a flexible command

and still accomplish what you want. Commands are easy to learn and
remember. With L&H Voice Xpress Professional you just "Say It
Your Way™" to create professionally formatted documents quickly

All speech recognition software takes dictation. Only L&H's
Natural Language Technology (NLT) lets you dictate, edit, and format
your text naturally. Issue commands to the computer in your own style
without the need to memorize hundreds of complex commands.
You're in control. If you want to make the font larger, just say so.
Tell L&H VoiceXpress to:

- "Make the font of this paragraph fourteen points."
- "Change font to Arial."
... and it will. No more need to conquer a technical vocabulary. Just
speak naturally and watch your computer perform!
Commands are easy to learn and remember. With NLT you just say it
your way to create professionally formatted documents quickly and

Continuous speech dictation to aid typing is only one step in
making speech the dominant interface for PCs and other
consumer devices. With Natural Language Technology, L&H
can make the PC easier to use by making the menu structure
of software applications and the hierarchy of the Windows
operating system obsolete. In addition, the accuracy of the
dictation software will continue to improve and new
technologies will be added that make it easier to dictate and
to complete documents. L&H was the first to introduce this
technology in a consumer software product with Kurzweil
VoiceCommands for Microsoft Word. This technology is also
already evident in the natural command language of L&H
Voice Xpress for Medicine.
