Dragon
Systems, Leading the Industry
The Natural Speech Company™
Dragon
Systems, Inc., is a leading worldwide supplier of speech and
language technology, including award-winning speech recognition
software. Dragon's goal is to "humanize" the interface
between people and machines by expanding the use of speech -- the
most natural and efficient way for people to communicate. Speech
capabilities available from Dragon Systems include continuous and
discrete dictation systems, voice command systems, text-to-speech
systems, customized telephony solutions, and developer tools which
enable users to speech-enable applications and build interactive
dialogues or custom vocabularies.
Throughout its history, Dragon has consistently been first and
foremost in introducing major new speech products. In April 1997,
Dragon Systems unveiled the world's first general purpose large
vocabulary continuous speech recognition product, Dragon
NaturallySpeaking™. Widely acclaimed by reviewers and analysts as
a revolutionary industry breakthrough, this software allows speakers
to create any text immediately by speaking at a natural
conversational pace. Since its introduction in 1997, Dragon
NaturallySpeaking™ claimed more major industry awards than any
other software product.
