Windows 2000 computers should have a minimum of 384 Megabytes of RAM. Increase your RAM and setup a permanent paging file to assist in taking the load off the RAM. Directions for setting up a permanent paging file are at: http://www.emicrophones.com/faq_answer.asp?contentID=15

Hello Navneet:

In fact running Windows 2000 you can upgrade to at least one GB of memory. However, 512 MB should work just fine. If you're in the U.S., watcher Sunday inserts from CompUSA, BestBuy or some similar outfit. You would be running PC 133, two memory sticks of 256 MB each. You can purchase memory for $27 per stick. Also you can go to a local computer store and often when you purchased the memory from them, they will put it in for free.
