I own a PC-88 MX that is approx. 4 yrs. old. I have a problem with the sustain pedal. It keeps malfunctioning and I keep replacing it. I'm now on my fifth Kurzweil pedal. This leads me to believe that there is something wrong with the PC-88 output. I'm plugging the sustain into the correct output and there are no problems with the electrical supply. I live and work in the Alamo, CA area which is approx. 45 minutes East of San Francisco. Does anybody have any referrals to a good repair shop where I can have the keyboard checked out. I'm convinced this is the problem as I can't imagine that many pedals malfunctioning. Anyone have a similiar problem that could offer advice? Thanks for the help. P.S. I also need a good teaching video or a book on how to best use the MIDI features of this keyboard.
