Hi !

I just installed Via Voice Office 98 on my Win 98 system and when I open the
Voice Center I get the following error message:

Microsoft (R) C Runtime Library performed an invalid memory access.

Module Name: MSVCRT.DLL
Description: Microsoft (R) C Runtime Library
Version: 5.00.7128
Product: Microsoft (R) Visual C++
Manufacturer: Microsoft Corporation

Application Name: Kernel32.dll
Description: Win32 Kernel core component
Version: 4.10.1998
Product: Microsoft(R) Windows(R) Operating System
Manufacturer: Microsoft Corporation

OR

Microsoft (R) C Runtime Library attempted to use a null data pointer
variable.

Module Name: MSVCRT.DLL
Description: Microsoft (R) C Runtime Library
Version: 5.00.7128
Product: Microsoft (R) Visual C++
Manufacturer: Microsoft Corporation

Application Name: Kernel32.dll
Description: Win32 Kernel core component
Version: 4.10.1998
Product: Microsoft(R) Windows(R) Operating System
Manufacturer: Microsoft Corporation

After this error occurs the system seems to run OK but it shouldn't be
there at all. I only get this error since I installed ViaVoce Office
and if I never start the Voice Center I don't get any other faults.

The sad part is that the recognition is wonderful!

I have tried to reinstall it to no avail.

Whats the cure has anyone seen this before?

Thanks !

J T
