voice recognition software and qualifications in IT

I am trying to do a thesis on the effects of voice recognition software on IT qualifications.
If you are involved in training, assessing or writing such qualifications, I would like to hear from you. In particular, whether it is a "good thing" or not, or if it does not affect the training standards in your opinion.
