Via Voice crashes with wrong version system files

I have a from the factory Windows 98 K6 computer that wouldn't run ViaVoice -- crashed at training repeatedly. Techs in Scotland said I had a conflicting version of Exprots and a couple of system files msvprt or something. He had to ship me new files and install them IN DOS. Big pain, but the fix seemed to work.
