I have no idea what this message means, but I am getting the same. I have an Ensoniqs Soundscape card, and read somewhere that it is compatible with ViaVoice, yet no luck. I called the tech support number. The guy had me make sure all multimedia devices were installed, and then had me delete and reinstall ViaVoice. Same thing. can't get past it. If you do, please let me know.
