Dear 21st Century Eloquence:

Just looked through your Web site- beautifully done and very well organized!

I am a practicing emergency physician as well as a VAR for IBM speech products and I have been trained by IBM in both VoiceType and MedSpeak/Radiology. I am writing to request that you update your information regarding IBM speech products to include:

1. Newer, lower pricing of MedSpeak/Radiology (now at version 1.2.3).
2. Availability of MedSpeak/Pathology (available as of 7/1/97)
3. Availability of IBM ViaVoice (continuous, general transcription, retail $99)
4. Powerful third party products such as:

a. DigitalDictate Continuous, NCC Corporation, Scottsdale
b. VoiceAutomated, Huntington Beach- the only company that I am aware of in the country that is producing specialty medical vocabs for ViaVoice and NaturallySpeaking. They currently have available General Medicine, Urgent Care, Workman's Comp/Disability, and General Surgery. Cardiology is to be available at the end of October.
**I use the Urgent Care vocab with ViaVoice and it works VERY well.

Thanks,

Gary Flashner, M.D.
