Hello,
My collegue and I have just complete a study designed to determine which parameters of voice, reading ability, cognitive ability, speech intelligibility etc would best predict which of 20 CP people would be able to use Powersecretary. In addition we measured the effects of intensive practice on the speed and accuracy of keyboarding using voice input for the successful subjects. We are just writing up the results for our funding agency so I cant give you many details other than to say that with extra practice more than half of CP dysartrhic speakers can successfully use powersecretary - and they didn't mind repeating things over and over. We have the added disadvantage of Australian accents!!
